Editorial Policy

The Learning Center exists to give practice administrators, physicians, office managers, and firm leaders straight answers about IT, security, and compliance. This page explains who writes that content, how it is reviewed, and what to do if we got something wrong.

Who writes our content

Content is written by the Galleon IT Solutions team: engineers and leadership who run IT, security, and HIPAA compliance for medical practices, labs, and revenue cycle organizations across Texas, working with our marketing partner. Articles carry the byline "By the Galleon IT Solutions team" because the substance comes from that hands-on work, not from a content farm.

How content is reviewed

Every article is reviewed by a person at Galleon before publication. Claims about regulations are checked against primary sources such as HHS and OCR guidance and Texas statutes, and articles that depend on regulatory detail are revisited when the rules change. Each article shows its publication date, and corrected articles update their modified date.

How AI is used

We use AI writing tools to help draft and edit. We do not publish unreviewed AI output. Facts, recommendations, pricing ranges, and case study details come from Galleon's own work and named sources, and a person is accountable for every page.

What our content is and is not

Learning Center articles are general information for Texas practices and businesses, not legal advice, a security guarantee, or a quote. For decisions about your own compliance program, talk to your compliance officer or counsel; for your own environment, contact us or start with the free IT risk assessment.

Corrections

If anything on this site is wrong or out of date, email info@galleonvirtual.com with "Correction" and the page address in the subject line. We review correction requests promptly, fix errors of fact, and update the page's modified date.
